This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. The site is operated by Queen City Plastic Surgery (“we” or “us”). It covers the website only and does not replace the practice’s HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which is available from our office on request.
Information you give us
Consultation requests. When you use our contact form, we ask for your name, email address, phone number, the procedures you are interested in, and a message. We use this information only to contact you about scheduling and to answer your questions. It is delivered to the practice by email through our email provider, Resend.
Newsletter. If you sign up for our monthly newsletter, your email address is sent to the practice by email through Resend, and we keep it on our mailing list to send the newsletter. Every newsletter includes a way to unsubscribe.
Patient chat. The chat window on our pages is provided by Klara, a patient messaging service. Messages you send there are handled by Klara on our behalf under its own privacy terms.
Please do not send detailed medical information through the website form. We will discuss your health privately at your consultation.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider processes technical information such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver the site securely and prevent abuse. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to understand which pages are visited and which buttons are used, such as calls and financing links. We never send your name, contact details, or anything you type into a form to Google. We do not use advertising tracking or remarketing.
Cookies and similar storage
Google Analytics cookies (names starting with _ga) are set only after you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If you choose Decline, or make no choice, they stay off, and choosing Decline later removes any that were set. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of advertising uses. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. The site also stores a small value in your browser to remember your choice. The Klara chat window may set its own cookies or local storage so the chat can work. You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings; parts of the chat may not work if you do.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your contact form details with advertisers.
Links to other sites
The site links to other services, including Instagram, Google, and our financing partners Cherry and PatientFi. Information you give those services is governed by their own privacy policies.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete the contact details you sent through the website, or unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, by calling the office or using the contact form.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
